2005 Chateau Greysac Medoc and 2007 Torbreck Barossa Valley Roussanne Marsanne

june 26, 2010: emilie and victoria prepared dinner for alan and marie-paule at greg and victoria's house while greg was up in indianapolis for the weekend. we made homemade spinach fetticini via http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/emeril-lagasse/spinach-pasta-dough-recipe/index.html.

we also made a shrimp recipe we got out of a southern living magazine, and a peach cobbler recipe in ramakins with a pie crust recipe via http://www.marthastewart.com/recipe/pate-brisee-pie-dough

alan brought over the medoc and the roussanne marsanne blend. both were wonderful, very soft and mellow. the medoc was fruity and the rousanne marsanne had overtones of lemon and honey (to victoria) and honeysuckle (to emilie).

the medoc was 13 percent alcohol. the roussanne (65 percent) and the marsanne (35 percent) blend was 13.5 percent alcohol.
